Shopping Spree

So I managed to save up a little to go on a mini-splurge and purchase a much-needed summer wardrobe. My wardrobe mainly consists of dresses, flowy skirts, and tank tops. It's so dreadfully humid, it's hard to wear pants or anything with sleeves. I was good and bought a few pairs of shorts and some summer cardigans, but if this weather keeps up it'll be hard to wear them!

My shopping trip wouldn't have been complete without a little "cheating" though. I bought these as well:
Coach Lexi Straw Satchel (with flowers and butterflies!!)

I also saw online that they had this purse with red handles and colored butterflies, but sadly they weren't available at my Coach location. I might have to track it down one day.

I also got a buckle purse in a gorgeous patent baby blue color. Sort of like this one:

I can't find the picture of the exact purse I bought anywhere online, but I will probably post it myself soon. Both of the purses I bought were on clearance, with an extra 30% off.

I'd been eyeing these for a while but couldn't find myself committing to them without seeing them in person. I just happened upon a store selling these for ridiculously cheap (4th of July sale!), and I felt that the price was too hard to pass up. They are really cute and better in person than I expected. They're not made of real leather, but they are comfortable. I will probably be wearing these to death this summer. Now if I can track down the black pair as well...

There were so many great deals! It's a wonder I didn't burn a hole through my credit card.

ASOS

I've been doing my best to avoid browsing shoes, which is why I haven't posted. But I thought, "That's silly. I have willpower!" So here I am, back to being bad. Hehe~

(Look familiar? JS Tookie copy-cat, and also more expensive. Hmmmm. They also have Dany look-alikes.)

I'm on the lookout for some more flat sandals for summer, something that will be comfortable even with a lot of walking around. I love gladiator sandals but don't have a lot because a lot of them look weird on my feet. I did end up getting the black DV Campbell sandals that I posted a while back and they are extremely cute, but I wish I had more summery colors.

It's In The (Girly) Details...

Although I love versatile pieces that pair with everything and never go out of style, I can't help but gravitate toward girly, frilly details that are so fun even if they're not always practical. Bows and florals are in "full bloom" this season and I'm loving it!!!

I also love the mix of animal print and bows/florals, it's such a delicate balance between hard and soft -- you can be girly but still sexy at the same time. Not to mention when your heels are sky-high, your legs will look amazing!!

Steve Madden Sofiaa

I know I said I wouldn't buy anything for a while, but I forgot that I had DSW Rewards that expire at the end of this month. I ended up getting these for only $35 with free shipping! What a great deal. Alas, I have something to look forward to from the delivery man. :)

Waiting is so hard...

I'm on hiatus from buying anything for a while. In the meantime, I'm agonizing over all the great sales and styles out right now. As tempting as they are, they're nothing more than eye candy...

I have been coveting the Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony mary janes and boots for a long time, but never found them in my size, except once - but when I discovered them, the price was WAY higher than anywhere else, and I believe they shipped from overseas. I was a little weary about purchasing them, but I do regret it once in a while. Oh well, at least I can still look at pictures of them and pretend I have them. :)

Daily Browse

It's an addiction, I know. I don't know if I can go a day without browsing shoes. It's a wonder I don't live in a house stuffed, floor to ceiling, with them. Hmmm, that sounds wonderful.

Reminds me of JS Tookie - probably the strap design? Also comes in a gorgeous electric blue! <3

There never seems to be a shortage of cool styles out there, both affordable and high-end. I'm trying to make it my mission to wear all of my shoes at least once this year. It's going to be fun, but kind of hard. I'm hoping it will also encourage me to get rid of some pairs that I hardly wear, have outgrown, or are just too painful to warrant keeping. Plus the newly available space will mean more shoes! Yay. :)
