Dolce Vita Bette

I found these for an awesome price and jumped on them. I love the chunky heel and platform, and they are so comfortable!! Platinum wasn't my first color choice, but I think they actually look really nice in person. They feel really soft and it looks wrinkled in an aged way, so they should wear nicely. I'm hoping I can score a pair of the orange ones eventually, as well.

Meet Bryne!

Piperlime had a lot of great styles on sale, both shoes and handbags. I ordered these:

I've actually owned this before and had to return them because they fit weird (too small) and I bought them at full price and didn't feel they lived up to the price tag. Now they are priced right, and I sized up!

This isn't your everyday bag, but I thought it would look really cute with casual outfits. If you know anything about me by now, I'm all about feminine details, bows included! :)

Yep, I just bought these in turquoise and I decided I needed them in black, too. I'm also tempted to get them in gold on Amazon, they are on sale for $31.50. The nude suede is nice, but they would get way too dirty. The gold is "calf leather" so I could wipe it clean if it gets dirty and they are still neutral. I don't know why, but I have a habit of owning multiple colors of styles that I like -- sometimes ALL of the colors! Call me crazy. It's okay, trust me I already know.

If you sign up for e-mail alerts, you can get an additional 15% off at Piperlime. That's what I did!! Everything I bought was already on sale, and I saved even more with the promo code -- WHAT A STEAL!

New To The Family

(on sale at Piperlime for $34.99)

(50% off at Heels.com, plus I used my $50 off coupon!)

(not on sale, but couldn't find the camel color anywhere else and they're so cute!!)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These were the other pairs I liked, but didn't end up getting:

I LOVE these and would've bought them, but they didn't have my size :(

(Bought these before & returned them, then regretted it. Very pretty!!)

(I like these, but can't get past the brand name...)

(JS, on the other hand - much more respectable celebrity and her shoes = awesome! Also love the color.)

I'm always amused by the wide range of styles I wear, especially when it comes to shoes. Much like the music I listen to, I'm influenced by "the moment" - how I'm feeling, what I see around me, and constantly evolving and re-interpreting things. That's what fashion is all about, right? Fun. Evolution. Art.

Hey, Mr. Postman!

So I've been talking about expanding my flat sandal collection ever since I got rid of all my flip-flops. DSW's triple points promotion was just the kick I needed to finally buy some. I managed to find these, I'm hoping they are as cute in person, otherwise they may have to go back. Luckily DSW has a great return policy!

Aside from these, I also purchased some other shoes that were such a great deal, I couldn't pass them up! A lot of them are older styles, but I don't care. If I have had a shoe crush and they cross my path again at the right price, it's fate!!

I ordered the Jeno yesterday from Endless and got them today. Don't you love overnight shipping? I'm all about (almost) instant gratification!! These are dreamy - there is also black and white with black straps, but I thought they might look too gothic, so I went with the pink/nude straps instead and they're really pretty! Fits TTS and very comfortable. The instep is quite high, so you have to be an experienced heel-wearer for these. They'd be sexier if the snake print was textured, but I figure they are easier to clean the way they are. I love them!! Now I just need to find an excuse to wear them out. :)

As you know from my previous posts, I also ordered all three colors of the Bebe Amuse and the L.A.M.B. Caitlyn wedge in black. Hopefully they arrive next week along with my other goodies.

Can't Help Myself...

Well, I did it again. Went onto the sample sites to see what the new daily inventory was, and VOILA!!!

Yet another shoe that I'd been coveting ever since it came out but just didn't want to shell out the full retail price for them. They are a whopping $375 which, to me, is more than I'm willing to pay for one pair of shoes. Until now, I'd only been admiring them from afar. I found them for only $134!! I went half-size up because they are supposed to run a tad small, but since my ankles will be strapped in, I'm not too worried if they're big. The soles are very small, so I imagine these to be treacherous to walk in, so I should make sure to get plenty of practice at home before attempting them outside. Super excited to get them, though!!

On another note, check this out...

Click click the link and pay only $20 for $50 worth of shoes at Heels.com!! Initial price is $25.00, but add "SAVE" promo code to save $3.00 and sign up for email updates to save another $2.00. That ends up being a final price of only $20, so you save $30!! How can you resist that?? I know I can't.

Online Sample Sites

Have any of you ever joined or purchased from an online sample site? They seem to be gaining steam but I've only just begun trying them out. I'm always a little weary about buying from sites that aren't as well-known or established. There are quite a few that are free to join and you can sign-on right away to see what they have available, but the deals don't always seem deeply discounted like what you would expect from a true sample sale. There are also a few that require a friend code or waitlist to join - some of these appear to have better deals, but in either case you need to do your research and shop around.

The idea of an online sample sale seems like a great idea - it sure beats having to wrestle your way through crowds of grabby females - and if you don't live in New York, it's a great opportunity to get those designer duds you've been eyeing but couldn't afford at full retail. All in all? I'd still urge you to be careful which sites you're signing up for, and make sure to do your research before giving out your information and making a purchase! Otherwise...SHOP TIL YOU DROP!!

And speaking of shopping...

Now for those of you who have never seen the Bebe Amuse - these were extremely popular when they first came out and sold-out very quickly in most sizes, including mine. They are made of suede with black leather piping and have a cross-strap front with ankle strap closure and a knotted design on the back. They are really, really tall (6.25 inches!!) but utterly gorgeous. They retail for $149.99 and I have rarely seen them on sale - not that my size was available anyway; however, I found these IN MY SIZE at the sample sale for $69.99 each!!! I'm very excited and hope they arrive soon...

New Shoes At Zappos!!

Calvin Klein Jordan (also comes in gorgeous black pony hair!)

(I am DYING for these!!! They are so amazing...)

It never ceases to amaze me just how many amazing styles are constantly coming out. How can my wallet possibly keep up?? Haha. My recent purchases came in the mail yesterday and I ended up having to exchange my SM Felicite for another size. They ran large and I went down 1/2 size and they are much, much better! The Enigma wedges are much more amazing than the Luichiny ones, but the pair I bought had a defect in the fabric so, again...I had to exchange them for a second pair for the same size. I received all of my replacements today (awesome customer service!) and I am happy. Once I return my original shipments I should have some more money again and get the Sam Edelman Sahar - they are AMAZING!!!

Arriving Tomorrow!

I have been bad. Very, very bad....

Endless has a special offer too good to pass up - $25 off $80 purchase! These are very similar to the Luichiny wedges that I purchased a while back and ended up returning because they fit weird. I had also originally wanted them in black but they were all sold out, so imagine my excitement when I found these! They are slightly more expensive, but the front looks nicer and I'm hoping they fit better.

Steve Madden Westii in Black Suede

Steve Madden Felicite in Bone Leather

Steve Madden Felicite in Black Leather

I bought these three SM heels on Zappos. The styles have been around for a long time, but I just never ordered them until now. I noticed on the Steve Madden website that they do have the Felicite in red leather as well. Once I receive my packages tomorrow, I may have to order the red if I end up loving the black and blush. If the Endless special offer doesn't expire soon, I may also be tempted to order the Westii in leopard calf hair. I know, right? Me and my leopard obsession!

Jessica Simpson Evoni Pump (the one I bought is "Dusty Blush" color in silk fabric)

These two I bought at DSW on clearance. The JS Evoni I purchased is made of a silky material rather than a faux leather and is "Dusty Blush" which is similar to a champagne color. So very pretty!!! They remind me of the Fendi Cinderella shoes in that they're so delicate and feminine and have a very similar shape. The main difference is that these do not have the clear acrylic platform like the Fendi's - but I'm actually grateful for that, as I'm not a huge fan of that detail.

The Diba's are gorgeous as well as affordable. The cork wedge is stable and comfortable, and the faux leather straps are soft and feel very comfortable. The best feature is the buckles - though they are more for design than function, I love that they are indeed adjustable! I found that the bottom buckle dug into my pinky toe a little at first, but once I loosened it one notch, VOILA! Problem solved. They are officially one of the most comfortable wedges I own. <3
