Gypsyz Women's High Slipper Socks/Boots

I'm always so cold in my house during winter, no matter how high or low the heat is set...so I tend to wear a lot of socks and/or slippers when I'm home. I love the idea of having knee-high slippers that I can wear a lot of different ways. Just because I'm walking around the house in my PJ's doesn't mean I can't maintain a level of style, right??

I also LOVE this dress, so I had to get it too. I'm on a binge for impractical goodies today.

Now, I know these don't have the curved heel like the Miu Miu ones do...but it's still an affordable interpretation. These were under $100 whereas the Miu Miu pairs run $800+ so I guess I can forego the curved heel. That doesn't mean I still don't want them, though. :(

I really liked these! The cute little bow, chunky heel, and bright red color really caught my eye. I'd never seen these before today, so I thought the coupon code would be reason enough to give them a try.

The Viktoree is my affordable version of a Louboutin Lady Daf pump. I'm a little bummed that they are suede and not calf leather, because I really wanted the nude colored pair more than the black. I can't fathom wearing light colored suede shoes - they'd get dirty way too quickly! Hopefully Steve Madden will make them in more fabrics and colors. They also have a purple pair which is really pretty. 

It wasn't intentional, but after my purchases had been made, I realized that I bought all Steve Madden shoes today. Weird, huh? I guess he knows what I like!

I'm Back!

Sorry for the lag in posts. These past couple of weeks have been crazy busy, but now I'm back on track! I went on a shopping excursion this weekend and came back with some great pieces. I did get SOME practical items, like some pants and shoes for work, and some layering tees...but there were a few fun items I bought. Here are the shoes:

Kelly & Katie Pagan Bootie, in Black

(They are much cuter in person and look great with everything! Super soft suede.)

Moda Reflex Geranium, in Black

(I bought these as my go-to comfort shoes and to wear to work--they're super comfy!)

I also got two pairs of flats from Gap. They are made of a really soft micro-suede and have large, cute bows on the front of them. One is leopard print with a black bow, and the second pair is red with a red bow. I couldn't find these online! :(

Bebe Glitter Wedges!!

Well, remember how I was really contemplating back and forth on these? They finally popped up everywhere in all of the colors! Temptation and Impulsivity got the better of me and I broke down.

The SM Tobago has actually been around quite a while, but I'm just NOW ordering them. I don't know why. They've been on my wish list forever! I figured I could give up one pair of gold glitter wedges to get both of these so I can finally own them.

I ordered all four pairs of these on Endless.com, with coupon code NOVEVENT to save 20% off, and I also used Mr. Rebates to save an additional 10% off! If you don't know about rebate sites already, you're missing out! There are a lot of great ones out there that can save you more money on your favorite online stores by giving you a percentage of your purchases back in cash (cash back amounts and percentages are different for each store). I use ebates as well, they often have double cash back certain times of year. Between the two rebate sites, I'm able to get cash back at almost 95% of the places I shop online and I use whichever gives me the better cash back offer. With the upcoming holiday season, every little bit you can save is great, right?

They fit true to size, but the toe area is a little narrow - not recommended if you have wide feet, as they are snug even with regular width. They are very gorgeous and classic, though. Love them!
